Who am I?

With a background as a professional dancer, I trained at Bird College Theatre School and spent years performing on stage. Throughout my dance career, I turned to Pilates to maintain strength, prevent injuries, and support my overall well-being. While I initially appreciated Pilates for improving body awareness, it wasn’t until I experienced a severe inner thigh injury that I truly understood its rehabilitative power.

As I transitioned from performing to an office-based role with The London Ambulance Service, I continued my Pilates practice, recognising its profound impact on posture, mobility, and mental well-being. Determined to share these benefits with others, I became a fully accredited Pilates Instructor through Polestar Pilates UK. I began with mat Pilates and soon discovered my passion for working with clients in 1:1 sessions, leading me to complete the Comprehensive Course. This training expanded my expertise to include the reformer, chair, trapeze, ladder barrel, and deepened my knowledge and ability to create tailored programs for clients of all abilities.

While working in the studio, I developed a strong interest in supporting clients through pre- and post-pregnancy. Wanting to provide the most beneficial guidance, I completed a qualification in Pre & Postnatal Pilates with J Pilates. This deepened my understanding of the anatomy and equipped me with the skills to support anyone experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction and abdominal recovery.

I am a big believer in remaining curious about the human body and I am continuing my studies in a different movement practice called Moving Fascia. Furthering my knowledge by learning about the various connections in the body, different ways of seeing and recognising movement patterns. Learning the difference between teaching someone to do and movement and how to connect and move from within.
